H. Kemp Jones, OD
The year 2010 celebrates thirty three years of practice in Swainsboro for Dr. Jones. After receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Dr. Jones returned to his home community of Emanuel County.
Dr. Jones is a graduate of Adrian High School, South Georgia College, and the University of Georgia. He is also an honorably discharged veteran of the Army of the United States.
Dr. Jones has been active in community and professional activities. He served three terms as an appointed member of the Georgia State Board of Optometry. He also has served in various offices, including president, of the Georgia Optometric Association and the First District Optometric Society.
Dr. Jones is a member of the Consulting Medical Staff of Emanuel Medical Center. He has also served on the Administrative Board of 1st United Methodist Church, The Swainsboro Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce, Emanuel 2000, Emanuel County United Way, Access Emanuel, the Emanuel County Sportsmens Club, and the Swainsboro Jaycees. He served three terms as Councilman for Ward 3 of the city of Swainsboro.
Dr. Jones and his wife Irene have two children Beau and Alicia.

Daphne Jackson-Office Manager
Daphne Jackson joined the Swainsboro Eye Clinic team in 2003.She greeted our patients and did the scheduling until 2006 when she accepted the position of office manager. She enjoyed the contact with the patients and still helps out whenever possible. Accounts payable and insurance billing are her main duties now. She finds this work both challenging and interesting. Daphne enjoys reading and spending time at the beach. She and her husband, Joe, have been married for 31 years.They have two children, Jake and Kate.

Kate Jackson
Kate Jackson graduated from Swainsboro High School in May, 2007. In June, 2007 she joined our practice as an administrative assistant. Her duties include filing, posting insurance payments and helping out the front desk or wherever needed. Kate enjoys shopping and spending time with her friends. Kate is the daughter of our office manager, Daphne. They live in Meeks
